Workshop on use cases in NFDI (PSinNFDI)

The Physical Sciences consortium within the National Research Data Infrastructure (PSinNFDI) will host an upcoming workshop dedicated to the practical implementation of FAIR (Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable) data principles across diverse physical science disciplines.

While specific data challenges vary by field, the establishment of standardized, FAIR-compliant data frameworks remains a universal prerequisite for reproducible and collaborative research. This workshop serves as a cross-disciplinary forum to present proven methodologies, facilitating the transfer of data management solutions between distinct scientific domains.

Scheduled Presentations:

  • Standardizing Experimental Data with NeXus Speaker: Dr. Lukas Pielsticker (FAIRmat)

  • FAIR Data Practices for Lattice Gauge Theory and Beyond Speaker: Dr. Hubert Simma (PUNCH4NFDI)

  • KGLit4Cat: Building Ontology-Based Knowledge Graphs from Literature with NLP Speaker: Dr. Alexander Sommer-Behr (NFDI for Catalysis-Related Sciences - NFDI4Cat)
