Annual face to face meeting of Task Area 3 in Tubingen

On 8th and 9th December 2025 DAPHNE4NFDI colleagues met for the annual TA3 meeting at the Eberhard Karls University of Tübingen, Germany.

The program consisted of dedicated talks on scientific software packages developed by the partners involved in the task area, on data management, processing and analysis workflows driven by the software tools and services, and on machine learning methods like convolutional neural networks implemented to some of the software. Furthermore, the agenda featured a poster session sparking lively ad-hoc discussion as well as a moderated discussion session about future aims, achievement and pending work of making software more FAIR and in-line with the present and future DAPHNE4NFDI deliverables, in particular towards interoperability with the other task areas.

The entire event fostered a great atmosphere of open exchange of ideas and opinions. We kindly thank the local organizers: Frank Schreiber, Alexander Hinderhofer, Aleksandra Rötschke and Susanne Kern, for making this meeting and its flawless organization possible
